“My Extra Special Aunty” - a day filled with workshops on child development, creative expression, and financial literacy. Choose to attend some or all of the activities on the day.

Our women migrant domestic workers form the integral backbone on which many families and our economy rely. From making sure that our children receive care, to ensuring that mothers can return to the workforce, and also providing financial support to their families back home, our “aunties” are the extra-special people in our lives.
Join Baumhaus, Pathfinders, Enrich and Joanna Bowers (author of “My Extra Special Aunty”) on a special day to promote the wellbeing and empowerment of our caregivers.

✨9:30-11:30am – UPSKILL: Special Workshop on Toddler Behavior Management
Join an interactive workshop by Crisel Consunji, founder of Baumhaus, as she equips our caregivers with the tools for positive behavior management in toddlers. This session is a taster for the Child Development Program she teaches at the HKMU’s community courses.
✨12:00-2:00pm – EXPRESS: Meet & Greet Joanna Bowers + Guhit Kulay; Special Creative Arts Workshop. Light snacks will be served during this time.
✨2:30-4:00pm – EMPOWER: Introductory Financial Literacy Training by Enrich Charity.
